Steve Bannon admits Youngkin's ties to Trump: 'The policies he's recommending are Trump policies'
Real America's Voice/scree grab

Steve Bannon, a former adviser to Donald Trump, admitted on Tuesday that Virginia candidate for Governor Glenn Youngkin has been promoting "Trump policies" despite shunning the former president publicly.

During his Real America's Voice broadcast, Bannon attributed Youngkin's rising poll numbers to "the deplorables" who voted for Trump.

He argued that a Youngkin win on Tuesday would signal Republican landslides in 2022 and 2024.

"This could change the next decade," he insisted. "You're starting to see independents listen to what the Trump movement is all about. Remember, Glenn Youngkin went from a guy who was very milquetoast and very super-moderate."

"Look at the policies he's recommended," Bannon added. "The policies he's recommending are Trump policies."
