​Unvaccinated sailors may be on the hook for paying back their education and training costs: report

According to reporting at the Daily Blaze, members of the U.S Navy who refuse to be vaccinated against Covid-19 not only will face being discharged but may be compelled to reimburse the government for their training costs.

As the report notes, the Navy has announced a timetable for being vaccinated with active-duty sailors required to be fully vaccinated by Nov. 28. Service members in the selected reserve are being given until Dec. 28, with sailors responsible for receiving both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine or "one dose of the Johnson & Johnson by Nov. 14 so they can complete the 14-day waiting period to achieve full vaccination status by Nov. 28."

Fully vaccinated foreign visitors can enter US from Nov 8: White House

US Navy says sailors who refuse vaccine will be expelled

The US Navy said Thursday that personnel who refuse to be vaccinated against Covid-19 will be expelled from the force, ahead of the November 28 deadline for the injection.

"With Covid-19 vaccines now mandatory for all military members, the Navy has announced plans to start processing for discharge those who refuse vaccination without a pending or approved exemption," it said in a statement.

People who received Johnson & Johnson's Covid-19 vaccine may benefit from a booster dose of Pfizer or Moderna, preliminary results of a US study published Wednesday showed.

‘Christian conservative’ Republican arrested for stealing from his church and threatening his family

Authorities in North Carolina have arrested an elected local GOP leader on a stream of charges, the Winston-Salem Journal reported Tuesday evening.

"Nathan Tabor, a former chairman of the Forsyth County Republican Party who unsuccessfully ran for Congress, is in the Brunswick County jail, accused of stealing motor-vehicle parts and cyberstalking, among numerous other felony and misdemeanor offenses," the newspaper reported. "Those charges include allegations that he made threats against his mother-in-law and other family members in Catawba County in an attempt to get more than $200,000 and that he harassed his pastor in Forsyth County, accusing the pastor of embezzling money from the church and making sexually-explicit comments to both the pastor and his wife."
