Former President Donald Trump claimed that he had "been violated as badly as anybody that's ever walked" after special counsel John Durham's report said the FBI did not follow procedures while investigating his 2016 campaign.

During a Monday interview on Real America's Voice, host Amanda Head asked Trump to respond to civil liberties violations for Jan. 6 protesters and himself.

"Keeping that within the conversation of the Durham report, do you feel like your civil liberties were violated?" Head wondered.

"Well, totally," Trump replied, adding, "I think I've been violated as badly as anybody that's ever walked. There's never been any violation like this. I've been violated beyond belief, and that's because of political — it's really a political persecution."

Special counsel John Durham has investigated special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation for four years. He could not secure any convictions and one guilty plea to lying on a form.
