Fox News host Laura Ingraham was buried in mockery for insisting that achieving herd immunity by April would be "bad news" for President Joe Biden.
Dr. Marty Makary, a professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, argued in a Wall Street Journal op-ed that rapidly falling cases showed the pandemic was winding down due to a variety of factors -- natural immunity from prior infections and increasing numbers of vaccinations -- and Ingraham suggested Biden would be disappointed.
"Bad news for Biden, Fauci and the pro-shutdown Left?" Ingraham tweeted. "Herd immunity by April (acquired immunity + vaccines = HI)"

Other Twitter users were puzzled by her reaction.
You really thought this through, huh

Seems like this would be a massive win for Joe Biden.

Get elected on a platform of beating coronavirus and then effectively accomplishing that in three months? Hard to imagine a bigger win tbh

as a lib, i would be so owned if everyone was vaccinated and people stopped dying and i could take my kids somewhere for the first time in a year

How is that bad news for them and good news for you? Same country
— PractisingLawOnMyOwn (@LesegoDiavolos) February 19, 2021
It's hilarious to me that you think anyone is happy with masks and shutdowns and all this shit. Herd immunity by April? Fucking fantastic. I hope so!
— Danny Gomez (@danMIA) February 19, 2021
Hon. If you actually ever listened to Fauci, you would know he's already predicted this.

Speaking as a person on the left, I would be Very Owned if the pandemic were to end. Surely, there's nothing that we on the left want more than for the pandemic to last forever. Nothing would make me angrier than getting to see my family and friends again.

Galaxy brain take, Laura.
Of course Biden and the left don't want the screaming recovery that would come from herd immunity and the ability to reopen everything. Why on earth would that be a good thing?
— Michael Heath (@DarthOmnivorous) February 19, 2021
This may shock you Laura, but we don't actually enjoy lockdowns either. We just enjoy people not dying of a preventable illness more! Vaccines are in fact how you get to herd immunity, not just letting a disease run rampant. As we have said all along, if you were honest.

This is the point where all of your bad faith takes get tangled up and start trampling each other in a bid for most self-contradictory.
— Luke Thomas (@lthomasnews) February 19, 2021
I'm certain that neither Biden or Fauci is upset by this news if it is true.
— John (@ruprechtsfork) February 19, 2021
Laura doesn't have a very big brain, folks
