A Fox News host spotted a series of warning signs that could determine how the GOP fares in Tuesday's midterm elections.
Will Cain, host of "The Will Cain Show," discussed several key races that could determine whether Republicans retain control of the Senate. He noted that if Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) is able to retain her seat, then the rest of the night may go in the Republicans' favor. But if the Democrats are able to pick up seats in deep-red states like Texas, Cain warned that the night could spell doom rather quickly.
Cain also pointed to several state district races to watch. One of which was Kentucky's 6th Congressional District, which Trump won by 15 points in the last election.
"Now ... it's a toss-up," Cain said. "So this is the one that's all about margin. Even a close Democratic loss could signal a strong night for the party."
He also said he would be watching Virginia's 1st and 5th Congressional Districts, the result of which "could signal a much larger blue wave." Virginia's 1st District seat is currently held by Rep. Robert Wittmann (R-VA), and the 5th District seat is held by Rep. John McGuire III (R-VA).
There were also a couple of races that could point to a "historic" outcome for Democrats, Cain added.
"Democratic wins in Texas, or in Kansas, that would be historic," he said.
