WASHINGTON – It’s been 11 years now – to the day – since most Americans learned how easily a person could use an AR-15 assault rifle to kill 20 six- and seven-year-olds, along with six adults, at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.

Hundreds more mass shootings have followed — at churches, concerts, shopping centers, supermarkets and, of course, many other schools. A commonality: sociopathic killers often choose AR-15s over less efficient killing machines.

Hunter Biden hit with unknown new charges from federal prosecutors: report

Federal prosecutors have filed new charges against Hunter Biden, according to CNN on Thursday.

The court documents have not yet been released, making the nature of the charges unknown. However, reported Evan Perez, "Special counsel David Weiss, in recent weeks, has been using a federal grand jury in Los Angeles to gather testimony and evidence on possible criminal tax charges against President Joe Biden’s son."

Capitol Police said that a man was arrested on Tuesday after he brought one or more weapons to the U.S. Capitol.

Florida man arrested after child finds gun, shoots sister in Miami-Dade home: cops

MIAMI — Officers arrested a man after they say a child grabbed an unsecured firearm and shot his or her 4-year-old sister in the head inside a Miami-Dade County home, police announced Monday morning.

Quavanta Demettris Ennels, 25, is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $7,500 bond as of Monday afternoon, county jail records show.
