US diplomacy faces 'crisis' as morale plummets​ under Trump

The New York Times reports U.S. diplomacy is floundering, with fully 98 percent of diplomats reporting plummeting workplace morale since the Trump administration took over in January.

“The Foreign Service is in crisis,” said John Dinkelman, president of the American Foreign Service Association, or AFSA. “Damage is being done to America’s diplomatic service that we will be paying for for decades to come.”

Suspect in 2021 planting of DC pipe bombs named by FBI

Federal authorities on Thursday named the Virginia man arrested on allegations of planting pipe bombs outside Republican and Democratic party headquarters in Washington, D.C., in 2021.

Brian Cole Jr., of Woodbridge, was identified as the suspect, according to Attorney General Pam Bondi. He was taken into custody in Woodbridge early Thursday.
