Christian nationalist pastor and right-wing political activist Sean Feucht said during a recent podcast interview that President Donald Trump is planning a Christian "revival" service as part of the upcoming America 250 celebration, according to a new report.

Right Wing Watch reported on Monday that the Christian service could take place at Mount Rushmore, the national monument to some of America's past presidents. The America 250 celebration is meant to honor the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

'Hell of a drug': Trump 'trolling' dismissed on CNN as desperate attempt to stay relevant

President Donald Trump's "trolling" about running for a third term seems to be a way for the president to maintain relevancy as he approaches the midterm of his second administration, according to one analyst.

Sabrina Singh, a former Pentagon spokesperson, discussed statements made by Trump and his allies about running for a third term on CNN's "The Arena" with Kasie Hunt on Monday. Her comments come after former presidential advisor Steve Bannon said during an interview with The Economist that there is a "plan" in place to make sure Trump is president in 2028 and beyond.

'Was that hard?' AOC drops cutting response after Trump demands she take dementia test

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) had a cutting response to President Donald Trump's apparent demand that she take a dementia test.

Trump initially made the comments on Monday morning aboard Air Force One, telling reporters, "AOC is low IQ. If you give her an IQ test, have her pass like the exams that I decided to take when I was at Walter Reed. Those are very hard ... They're really aptitude tests, in a certain way, but they're cognitive tests. Let AOC go against Trump. The first couple of questions are easy. A tiger, an elephant, a giraffe..."

In a conversation between Zeteo founder Mehdi Hasan and Aswin Soobsang, senior political correspondent, the two discussed whether Americans actually care about the construction of the White House ballroom and the destruction of the East Wing, as well as how taxpayers will ultimately foot the bill.

ICE deploys tear gas as costumed children head to Halloween parade

A former Cook County prosecutor said he had collected a tear gas canister from his own front lawn in a residential Chicago neighborhood and submitted it to a law firm that is preparing a lawsuit over immigration officers’ persistent use of tear gas against residents who object to their raids across the city—including in Old Irving Park this past weekend, where parents and children were getting ready for a Halloween parade when agents wreaked havoc on the neighborhood.

The Chicago Tribune reported that former prosecutor Brian Kolp had been watching news coverage Saturday morning of a temporary restraining order handed down by US District Court Judge Sara Ellis earlier this month barring federal agents from using riot control weapons like tear gas against protesters who do not pose an immediate harm to officers’ safety, when he realized federal agents were on his street in Old Irving Park.

Trump makes 'emergency' Supreme Court power grab after AI plot by tech pals thwarted

President Donald Trump's administration filed an "emergency" Supreme Court plea to remove the register of copyrights at the Library of Congress, which had refused to support the plans of AI companies owned by his billionaire supporters.

In September, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit ruled that Trump lacked the authority to remove Shira Perlmutter because she worked for Congress, not the executive branch. Trump first tried to fire Perlmutter in May after she released a pre-publication version of the third part of the Copyright Office's report "Copyright and Artificial Intelligence," which suggested that AI companies could be infringing on copyrighted works.

Deep-red MAGA fans hatch plot to oust Senate Republican for not being pro-Trump enough

Conservative Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) went from being a close ally of the late Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) — who is remembered for his scathing criticism of President Donald Trump — to being a staunch defender of Trump and the MAGA movement. Graham himself had plenty of negative things to say about Trump during the 2016 presidential election, but after Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton was defeated, Graham took an aggressively pro-Trump turn.

Yet in deep red South Carolina, some MAGA Republicans believe that Graham should be voted out of office in 2026 for not being pro-Trump enough.

'Playing dumb': Mike Johnson hammered after wild claim about who's running the government

President Donald Trump was caught mocking Speaker Mike Johnson, claiming not only to be the president but also to control Johnson so thoroughly that he is, in effect, the speaker as well. This has prompted renewed questions about who is actually running the government.

Writing in The New Republic on Monday, Edith Olmsted argued that Johnson is taking "playing dumb to a whole new level." Johnson holds daily news conferences about the government shutdown, and during Monday's event, he insisted that it’s not just Republicans who control the government. Since the GOP controls the House, Senate, and White House, the claim raised eyebrows.

America's war assembly lines face 'crisis': 'Something is going wrong'

On May 1, roughly 4,000 employees of defense manufacturers — including Lockheed Martin — went on strike. And in another strike, around 3,000 employees of Pratt & Whitney (which manufactures essential components of Lockheed Martin’s F-35 fighter jet) walked off the job in Hartford, Connecticut.

In an article published by Politico on Monday, reporter Christopher Leonard warns that dissatisfaction among employees of defense manufacturers is problematic for the United States from a national defense standpoint.

Key signals flagged that doctors are 'worried' about Trump's health

California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom took a swing Monday at President Donald Trump's health claims, saying "most people don’t take that many cognitive tests unless a doctor is worried" — adding to the recent jabs at the president's cognitive and physical health.

Trump, 79, announced during a flight on Air Force One that he was recently at Walter Reed Medical Center for an aptitude test, The Daily Beast reports.
