Vice President JD Vance stumbled during a speech at an Iowa manufacturing facility while campaigning for Representative Zach Nunn (R-IA).

Nunn faces a competitive reelection bid this November, according to PBS.

Vance discussed the Trump administration's efforts to lower fertilizer costs for farmers and increase ethanol sales, dismissing the war with Iran as a "blip."

While describing administration collaboration with local officials on agricultural policy, Vance lost his place in his speech and stared blankly at his notebook, creating an awkward silence. He asked Representative Nunn to help him find a name he'd forgotten, stating "I lost my page."

The vice president then awkwardly flipped through his speech notes while the crowd waited.

The incident occurred during remarks focused on the administration's commitment to supporting Iowa farmers through policy initiatives.
