JD Vance slammed over ‘pathetic’ joke during 9/11 remarks: 'Worm of a man'

Vice President JD Vance sparked instant outrage Thursday by slipping a political joke into his remarks about attending the 25th anniversary ceremony of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

The moment unfolded while Vance hosted a White House press briefing, where he initially described the 9/11 ceremony as “an amazing honor” that he said he was “looking forward to.”

“I think that sense of commonality and common purpose that we all had on 9/11, that’s something that we should really try every single day to get back to,” Vance said....

Trump's 'dementia cheat sheet' flagged by political analyst amid a telling silence

President Donald Trump was photographed clutching a briefing "cheat sheet" that Republicans once called irrefutable proof of Joe Biden's dementia.

During a Tuesday podcast episode, progressive commentator David Pakman seized on the image and hammered at what he framed as a bottomless well of Republican hypocrisy over presidential fitness. The photo was taken on Monday in the Oval Office, where Trump honored a sixteen-year-old lifeguard from California and the ten-year-old he rescued.

"There are legitimate reasons to examine Donald Trump's fitness," Pakman said. "60 percent of voters don't think he has the mental sharpness to be president."...

'That's what's cringe?' Laughter erupts as MAGA pundit reveals her real target

A CNN panel erupted in laughter after they were shocked by what a MAGA pundit considered "cringe."

On Wednesday night, a panel hosted by CNN anchor Abby Phillip discussed how denying that President Joe Biden won the 2020 election seems to be a litmus test for winning a role in the Trump administration. Phillip started the segment by showing a clip of three Trump judicial nominees skirting around the question when asked who won the 2020 election.

The clip included Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) yelling "Be your own man!" as Adam Candeub, a nominee to be assistant antitrust attorney general, refused to answer yes or no to the question. It then showed John Cronan, nominee for the U.S. Sentencing Commission, and Gregory Cook, a nominee for U.S. judge for the Northern District of Alabama, doing the same....

James Comer mocked over call to invalidate Biden pardons on Fox News: 'Be careful'

Rep. James Comer (R-KY) suggested on Monday that pardons issued by former President Joe Biden should be declared "null and void," prompting a wave of reactions online.

The Chairman of the House Oversight Committee appeared on Fox Business to discuss pardons, including the preemptive pardon issued by Biden for Dr. Anthony Fauci. In an explosive new Washington Post report, new details emerged involving former Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard's actions and her accusations that Fauci had led a COVID coverup.

Comer argued during the live interview that Biden had never held any meetings ahead of pardons....

Lawmaker gives Trump nominee tongue-lashing after he dodges key question: 'You're afraid!'

A Democratic lawmaker fired back at a Trump nominee after he refused to respond to questions during a confirmation hearing on Tuesday.

Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) had a direct response to Deputy White House budget director nominee Hal Duncan during his testimony before the Senate Budget Committee. Sen. Jeff Merkley had asked a pointed question of Duncan, which the nominee tried to dodge.

"Do you believe the 2020 election was rigged?" Merkley asked....

Hunter Biden rages at Jake Tapper and 'ugly' Stephen Miller in posting spree

Hunter Biden started posting on X last month for the first time and has unleashed his thoughts on CNN anchor Jake Tapper, MAGA, and now one of President Donald Trump's closest advisors — Stephen Miller.

On Thursday, Biden took issue with one of Trump's longest-running insiders and White House chief of staff in a blunt comment in response to a user named Case on X, who said, "gonna need Hunter Biden to also call Stephen Miller an ugly f---."

"Stephen Miller is an ugly f---," Biden said in a cheeky response....

'It's a lie': Morning Joe reveals real reason for Trump cancellation live on air

MS NOW’s Joe Scarborough said on “Morning Joe” that President Donald Trump’s explanation for canceling a rally is “a lie,” citing Republican operatives who told him the Kansas Senate race is already lost.

Scarborough said Trump was “giving lectures now on people’s mental health,” then said that what Trump has said about canceling, and why, is untrue. He said that Wednesday afternoon, Republican operatives called him and, in his words, said “this race has been gone for a week.”

Additionally, Scarborough said Democrats were surprised the president canceled at the last minute, but that the reason, in his account, is that Republicans feel Sen. Roger Marshall “has blown that race.”...

'My spidey sense is tingling': CNN host suspicious of 'very very odd' Trump move

CNN's John Berman said Friday that he finds the White House’s sudden campaign cancellations “very, very odd,” just days before the midterm elections.

President Donald Trump canceled planned rallies for Sunday in Salina, Kansas, on Saturday and Dubuque, Iowa – where both states have competitive Senate races – and Vice President JD Vance also canceled a trip to Minnesota, another state with a competitive Senate race, where he was set to speak about fraud.

“Why is the White House pulling back from campaign trips just as we’re getting closer to Election Day?” Berman asked....

Dismay after Haley Stevens' 'absolute train wreck' CNN interview: 'What is this?'

Dismay after Haley Stevens' 'absolute train wreck' CNN interview: 'What is this?'

Onlookers were dismayed Sunday after Rep. Haley Stevens (D-MI) gave one of the most bizarre interviews to Anderson Cooper of CNN.

Stevens was interviewed Sunday on CNN's "Midterms 2026: Countdown to Election Night," where Cooper asked her why she abruptly changed her mind from supporting Democratic candidate Abdul El-Sayed to endorsing Republican candidate Mike Rogers, who is a close ally of President Donald Trump's. Stevens claimed earlier in the day that El-Sayed had effectively banished her from his campaign after she endorsed him, and that was at least part of the reason why she decided to support Rogers.

Things got even stranger during her appearance on CNN. At one point, Stevens told Cooper that El-Sayed had gotten "angrier" throughout his campaign, a claim that Cooper didn't buy. ...
