Fans of President Donald Trump's Make America Great Again movement threw a fit on Tuesday after a conservative volunteer was slapped at an election event in New Hampshire.
Turning Point Action, the advocacy arm of Charlie Kirk's Turning Point USA, a conservative youth political group, held an election event in New Hampshire, where one of the organization's volunteers got into a heated verbal altercation with an older man. A video posted on social media captured the older man flipping off and then slapping the volunteer at the end of the conversation.
MAGA fans melted down on social media.
MAGA influencer Gina Milan was outraged by the video.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! " Milan posted on X. "This young man stood there calmly listening while this old man flipped him off and then SMACKED him across the face! What the f--- is wrong with these people?! The left are absolute psychopaths. So disgusting."
"The Democrat (sic) Party is a mental illness," Benjamin Schettler, the former faith outreach director for Ben Carson, posted on X.
Fox News host Laura Ingraham chided the elderly man in the video.
"Did Gramps miss his meds this morning? Hope he was charged with assault," she posted on X.
Riley Gaines, a MAGA influencer, claimed the video was an illustration of the left's penchant for political violence.
"It is ALWAYS hate and violence with this crowd. Is a civil conversation really that hard for them?" Gaines posted on X. "I hope this man is charged with assault."
