Trump fumes at Charlie Kirk trial judge after new development: 'Desecrating the memory!'

Following a new development, President Donald Trump lashed out Friday at District Judge Tony F. Graf Jr. over his handling of the murder trial of Tyler Robinson, who is accused of assassinating right-wing influencer Charlie Kirk last year.

On Friday, Robinson’s legal team requested a 2029 trial date to better prepare their defense. The request, which has yet to be approved, was fiercely condemned by Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, as “absurd.”

“The judge in the Charlie Kirk case is doing a terrible job! This case should be tried within a month, not three years — and it should be over with!” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social.

“The judge is desecrating the memory of the Great Charlie Kirk, while taking forever to ask questions that people already know the answer to. The whole Country is mocking him and our ‘Legal’ System. JUSTICE FOR CHARLIE!”
