Former President Barack Obama used expletives to criticize Donald Trump Jr.'s intelligence in Dr. Anthony Fauci's newly released diary, per reports.

According to The Daily Beast, Obama allegedly sought to comfort Fauci in November 2021 after Trump Jr. sold merchandise mocking Fauci with slogans based on false puppy experiment claims.

Obama vulgarly described Trump Jr. as a "moron" before apologizing for crude language.

"[Obama] went on to say that Donald Trump was a hopeless idiot who was a pathologic liar,” Fauci wrote.

“He was very upset that none of the moderate Republicans were actually speaking out on my behalf and were distancing themselves from all of this terrible, slanderous behavior against me.”

The 1,000-page diary was released by Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), who has feuded with Fauci over pandemic origins theories.

Fauci's office received thousands of hostile calls after Trump Jr. amplified false claims about him.

This week, Fauci invoked his Fifth Amendment right over 100 times during Senate testimony, accusing Paul of orchestrating the hearing to secure statements supporting calls for his imprisonment.
