Steve Bannon rants about 'stolen' election just hours before Jan. 6 Committee votes on criminal referral

Conservative broadcaster Steve Bannon continued on Tuesday to promote lies about the 2020 presidential election despite reports that the January 6 Committee will vote to refer his case to the Justice Department.

Bannon, who served as an adviser to former President Donald Trump, has said that he will defy a subpoena from the January 6 Committee. The committee was expected to vote on a criminal referral for Bannon later on Tuesday.

Trump's former chief strategist devoted a significant portion of his Tuesday War Room broadcast on Real America's Voice to the idea that the 2020 election was "stolen" by President Joe Biden.

Bannon used one segment to beg Virginia Republicans to vote in the race for governor despite his claim that Democrats are cheating.

"It's actions that convince the deplorables their votes are going to count," he explained at one point.

The War Room host went on to speak to guests about auditing the 2020 vote in Arizona, Utah and Pennsylvania.

Bannon praised his guests for "preaching the gospel of 3 November."
