President Donald Trump threatened a former administration official in a Truth Social post on Thursday.

In the post, Trump took aim at Joe Kent, his former counterterrorism director, who resigned earlier this year over Trump's war in Iran. Trump called Kent a "sleazebag" and a "loser," and argued that he only hired him because he felt sorry for him after Kent lost two elections.

"Who’s dumber, Tucker Carlson or Joe Kent? It’s very interesting!" Trump wrote, before diving into a diatribe about Kent's election losses and his late wife.

"He was really a SLEAZEBAG, and some would say, on top of it all, A LEAKER!" Trump added. "I don’t know whether or not that was true, but next time, NO MORE MR. NICE GUY! Kent is a LOSER, just like Tucker, Candace, Megyn, and the rest of them are LOSERS — You’re born that way, LOW IQ, and there’s not a damn thing they’re going to be able to do about it!"
