'He is lost': Art of the Deal coauthor says Trump 'doesn't have the marbles' to keep going

President Donald Trump no longer has the mental faculties to truly understand what he is doing day to day, let alone perform the functions of a president, said his "Art of the Deal" co-author Tony Schwartz on MS NOW Thursday.

This comes after a week consumed by reporting about the Iran war, Trump's slush fund for his political allies, and additional developments in the Jeffrey Epstein trafficking case review, as well as ongoing rants and tantrums on his social media platform.

"Given how well you know him and how he responds to adversity, what does he do with this situation?" Anchor Ari Melber asked Schwartz, a frequent commentator on Trump's mind....

Top doctor drops bombshell Trump dementia warning: 'It’s about to get worse'

A prominent clinical psychologist revealed that President Donald Trump's rambling tangents could indicate something disturbing ahead, according to a report on Thursday.

Dr. John Gartner, former assistant professor at Johns Hopkins University Medical School, told The Daily Beast that Trump's "lengthy monologues about his construction projects" show that he has "growing signs of dementia and malignant narcissism—and it’s about to get worse."

The evidence of his cognitive decline has been evident in the way Trump talks about his vanity projects, including the White House Ballroom or the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool....

Carville predicts one thing Trump will remember when 'he can't recognize his own children'

Democratic political strategist James Carville joked about Trump's cognitive decline but predicted that he'll never be able to forget one thing.

Journalist Al Hunt, host of the Politicon podcast, was interviewing Carville in a Wednesday episode when he mentioned how Trump's "cognitive decline is so apparent." Hunt pointed to Trump's late-night Truth Social firestorm earlier in the week.

"He's slipping more than we've said," Hunt said. "He put out 55 messages, most of them bizarre."...

Ex-Bush admin doc recommends Trump undergo formal medical testing after observing symptoms

A former White House cardiologist advised President Donald Trump's medical team to consider formal testing after the president appeared to fall asleep in the Oval Office this week.

Dr. Jonathan Reiner, who was the cardiologist to late former Vice President Dick Cheney for nearly 30 years, described what he saw after Trump was caught visibly tired during a White House event on Thursday. The president was speaking with a group of cabinet members about several topics, including health care, prescription drug prices, and the economy, when people started to notice he was nodding off.

Reiner recommended that Trump's medical team consider additional steps to address the potential health concern....

'Beg him to stop': Trump's brag about basic brain health test alarms ex-White House doc

A former White House cardiologist has begged Donald Trump to stop bragging about his mental health — as his next checkup deadline looms.

Dr. Jonathan Reiner, who served as Dick Cheney's cardiologist during the George Bush administration, urged the current president to stop gloating about cognitive tests he's done. Trump bragged yesterday about results that he's referenced many times, prompting Reiner to note a new cognitive test will be administered to the president soon.

Trump said yesterday, "I'm the only president that ever took a cognitive test. I took it 3 times. It's actually a very hard test for a lot of people. It wasn't hard for me. ...

Trump is 'seen very little' and could be 'sicker than he lets on': ex-White House insider

An analyst Friday pointed out that President Donald Trump has made fewer public appearances over the past several weeks as questions over his health have continued to increase.

Brian Karem, Salon's White House columnist, described how Trump has boasted that Washington, D.C. is booming, but Karem returned this week after being away and found "a city without its energy" — comparing that to Trump's recent behavior.

"And while the District seems tired, Trump seems more so," Karem wrote. "It doesn’t even seem like the president is trying his hardest to lie to us anymore. He just repeats the same lies with less energy, as if he too has grown weary of his own rhetoric. He’s telling us to turn the page on the Epstein scandal. But he’s on that next page too."...
