While up in the air, Jim Harbaugh got knocked out of the game. The Big Ten announced Friday afternoon that it has suspended Michigan's head football coach for the final three regular-season games, starting with Saturday's much-anticipated matchup at Penn State. The conference said Harbaugh won't be allowed to be at the stadium for the final three games, at Penn State and Maryland, and the home finale, against Ohio State. Harbaugh will continue to be allowed to oversee practices leading up to games. The Big Ten, in announcing the suspension, said it was unmoved by Michigan's response to allegat......

It allows female students to compete in male sports if there are no women’s sports available. “Women and girls deserve and have fought for an equal opportunity to succeed, and with this legislation today, w......

Anheuser-Busch chief says Bud Light controversy is small compared to company's global reach

Anheuser-Busch Chief Executive Officer Michel Doukeris said the steep drop in sales of Bud Light beer in April represented just 1% of the international corporation's global volume of beer for that period. Doukeris made his first public comments about the controversy on an earnings call to investors and analysts to discuss the company's first-quarter financial results. The controversy began on April 1, when transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, 26, posted a video of herself sipping Bud Light in conjunction with the NCAA basketball tournaments and showing a photo of a can of the beer she had re......

Audio reveals tense, emotional meeting in DA’s office over San Diego State gang rape allegations

SAN DIEGO — Nearly eight minutes into a meeting last year, the prosecutor broke the news to an 18-year-old woman who reported that multiple men had raped her at a College Area house party: There would be no criminal charges. She started to sob. The young woman had gone to police the day after the October 2021 incident, which happened when she was 17 and a high school senior. She’d undergone an invasive sexual assault exam. She had worked with investigators, granted their request to make recorded phone calls with San Diego State University football players who’d emerged as potential suspects. A......
