Jerry Nadler (D-NY) criticizing the GOP for holding meaningless votes when the U.S. economy is in a state of emergency. Maddow then played a clip of the president making the same observation and went on to discuss the fact that the Democratic caucus is looking significantly less splintered lately, both on jobs and on the proliferation of laws across the country designed to make it harder for poor people and minorities to vote.
