A Donald Trump administration official got in a heated back-and-forth with a CNN anchor who cut him off during a live broadcast on Thursday.

CNN's Brianna Keilar was interviewing Doug Collins, Veterans Affairs secretary, and sharing a letter from 350 doctors, psychologists, nurses, and researchers who raised "urgent concerns about proposed policies which, in addition to ones already enacted, will undermine VA's healthcare system, overwhelm VA's budget, and negatively affect the lives of all veterans."

Keilar described what was included in the letter and reported on the ongoing government shutdown, explaining that they have testimony and evidence, and asking Collins if his agency was seeking that information. ...

The FBI is investigating after a woman was shot by CIA security Thursday as she drove up to a gate at the agency's headquarters in Langley, VA, and failed to stop, CBS reported.

Law enforcement said they believed the gunshot wound to the woman's upper was not life-threatening.

She was taken to a medical facility for treatment, according to the report.

A 3-year-old boy is in critical but stable condition in Hopewell, VA after his twin brother found an unattended handgun and accidentally shot him. According to CBS News, the shooting took place at around 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
