Former President Donald Trump took yet another swipe at Ron DeSantis, describing him as a "liddle lightweight" and mocking his claims that Trump can't win the presidential election.
"I’ve won two Elections, the second far bigger than the first (it was Rigged!)," he wrote in a post to Truth Social this Monday.
"My Endorsement is considered, far and away, the most powerful in political history, I’m blowing away DeSanctimonious in the Polls, and am leading Biden & Harris BIG, whereas DeSanctus is losing to BOTH," Trump wrote.
According to Trump, he's "gotten more people Elected than any other human being."
"Yet I have to listen to these liddle lightweights like “Ron” say I can’t win. Like the Dems, it’s just DISINFORMATION. The TRUTH is, they can’t win!!!" he wrote.
A new Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll shows Trump leading President Joe Biden by seven points. The poll found Biden and DeSantis deadlocked in a tie in a head-to-head matchup. The poll also found Trump to be widening his lead over DeSantis.
"In a hypothetical nine-way Republican presidential primary, Trump takes 58 percent support among GOP voters, adding 3 percentage points to his already-staggering lead since last month. His closest rival, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, notched only 16 percent in the survey – a 4-point downturn since the previous survey," The Hill reported.
