Trump pours gasoline on feud with Fox News and steers MAGA to rival network

President Donald Trump lashed out at Fox News early Monday, urging his followers to ditch the network in favor of the controversial right-wing rival Right Side Broadcasting Network.

“Fox spends more time defending Dumocrats, and putting on their views versus their Republican opponent, than at any time in the History of FoxNews. It’s ridiculous!” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social. “FoxNews is trying too hard to be Politically Correct! Watch my big Kansas Rally today on RSBN. Great early coverage!”

Trump has been increasingly critical of Fox News in recent weeks, vowing earlier this month to “stop watching” the network in protest of its coverage, or lack thereof, of his rally in Ohio. Trump’s vow appeared to be short-lived, however, with the president criticizing the network’s coverage just two days later.

Founded in 2015, RSBN has faced several controversies.

In 2017, the network apologized after host Nick Fuentes, now a prominent white nationalist, said he wanted the people who run CNN “arrested and deported or hanged.” YouTube suspended the network at least twice in 2021 over Trump speeches it aired, including ahead of a July rally in Florida. RSBN said an earlier suspension was over his CPAC speech, which YouTube said violated its election misinformation rules.
