President Donald Trump raged at New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani in a new Truth Social post on Thursday for allegedly "destroying" Trump's hometown.

Trump and Mamdani have squared off multiple times in the past. While Mamdani was campaigning, Trump vowed to shut off all federal funding to the state of New York. Trump also endorsed former Gov. Andrew Cuomo in his unsuccessful campaign against Mamdani.

"Sadly, Mayor Mamdani is DESTROYING New York! It has no chance!" Trump wrote. "The United States of America should not contribute to its failure. It will only get WORSE. The TAX, TAX, TAX Policies are SO WRONG. People are fleeing."

"They must change their ways, AND FAST. History has proven, THIS 'STUFF' JUST DOESN’T WORK," Trump continued.
