Trump's own family hates him and his grandkids find him 'weird': ex-insider

According to one of Donald Trump’s longtime friends from his Manhattan days — before the president decamped to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida — Trump‘s family only tolerates him and at times hates him because of his self-absorption and “weird” habits.

Speaking with a podcaster Vlad Vexler, Wall Street investor Anthony Scaramucci, who had a public falling out with the president after a brief stint serving in the White House, claimed Trump’s grandkids aren’t sure what to make of their grandfather, who sits in the Oval Office. And it goes much deeper than that.

Everybody hates him,” the New Yorker told Vexler, “From Melania, his children, maybe the grandchildren like him a little, but they find him weird because he’s a weird guy.”

“You know he’s got the orange make-up on, he’s wearing the lifts, he’s wearing a girdle on some days,” he continued. “He’s a very weird, very awkward guy and he has to be the king of every moment.”

He added, “So you can’t — he may not know something, so you can’t tell him something he doesn’t know, he’ll flip out. You can never lecture him. You can never be perceived to know something he doesn’t know, or know something better than him. So all of this stuff fits into that pattern of narcissism, but then he can be charming, he could be gracious, you know. I guarantee he was kissing the king’s a— last week. Guarantee it, because I know his personality.”
