Radio host Michael Savage thinks only white people fought in World War II

Conservative radio host Michael Savage accused President Barack Obama of driving white men to revolt and awkwardly compared him to Adolf Hitler -- while also ignoring the history of U.S. service members of color, Right Wing Watch reported.

"Like many dictators before him, Barack Obama thinks the white man will remain quiet and subdued forever," Savage argued. "Hitler made that mistake; Hitler boasted that his supermen, his Hitler Youth, would easily wipe the floor with the GI Joes that were being sent over, with inferior equipment, by the way. But you see, it was the white man who defeated Superman in World War II."

Savage's remarks completely omitted more than 1 million black service members, along with between 250,000 and 500,000 Latino personnel who fought in that war and as many as 20,000 Asian-Americans and Native American service members.

He also argued that the State Department had "sold America down the river to Iran," a reference to the recent deal allowing Iran to escape international economic sanctions in exchange for downscaling its nuclear program falls.

While Savage's take falls in line with that of other conservatives, Central Intelligency Agency director John Brennan ripped critics of the agreement on Tuesday, saying they were "being wholly disingenuous."
