An Arkansas doctor has been arrested and charged with raping at least three women patients, Arkansas Matters reports.
Dr. Robert Rook faces three charges each of rape and sexual assault after women reported to authorities he had unwanted sexual contact with them.
The charges stem fro 2015 accusations by one woman that Rook gave her a "full physical" in which he was alone in a room with her and touched her breasts for 3-to-5 minutes. According to an arrest warrant, the woman reported it seemed like he was "playing with her breasts" instead of looking for lumps.
All of the alleged assaults occurred during physicals and pelvic exams.
Rook is a family practice doctor in Conway, THV11 reports. He is currently out on $225,000 bond, with his next court date set for Tuesday.
Another woman said Rook touched her pelvic area inappropriately, came up behind her and "cupped" her breasts from behind. She told investigators she believed he was trying to "stimulate" her instead of conduct a medical exam.
Another woman who had seen him for months said her initial visit started with him having her sit on his lap while undressed. The office visits resulted in increasing "intimacy" between the two. Details of Rook's behaviors as alleged by his accusers can be read in an affidavit posted here.
