Imagine you're a person who has invested a significant sum of money into Donald Trump's presidential campaign -- what would you be feeling about him right now?
One unnamed Trump donor has told The Hill's Jonthan Swan that he's so angry at Trump's recent behavior that he is fantasizing about causing him physical pain.
"I would break his f*cking thumbs if I could!" the donor said to Swan.
Swan also described the donor as being at his "wit's end" with Trump and said that he "cannot fathom" what the candidate is doing.
Given that even Trump's own campaign operatives are leaking reports that question their candidate's own mental stability right now, it's not surprising that Trump's donors are seething with rage.
Then again, given how Trump has behaved ever since announcing his candidacy last year, none of them should at all claim to be surprised by how he's acting now.
