A North Carolina radio host asserted over the weekend that Donald Trump's willingness to be in close proximity to black people proved that he was not a racist.
Following Trump's Saturday visit to an African-American church in Detroit, political talk show host Bill Mitchell tweeted a photo of Trump speaking to members of the church.
"You notice how close Trump stands to this black man as he listens to him? No racist would ever do that," Mitchell wrote.
Mitchell's remarks were quickly met with condemnation on Twitter.
