Florida Gov. Rick Scott got a very rude message from a constituent during a press scrum this week.
Via Daily Kos, Miami New Times is reporting that while Scott was talking with reporters during his trip to Wynwood, Fla., an unidentified resident drove by in a red car and began yelling obscenities at the governor.
"Motherf*cker!" the angry Florida man yelled out of his window. "You scumbag! F*ck you!"
The man then proceeded to extend his middle finger from the car window.
Scott was in Wynwood to visit what Miami New Times is calling the "ground zero" of a Zika virus outbreak. The publication also notes that Scott has come under fire for his decision to slash mosquito control funding even as the state faces the threat of a virus that is spread by contact with mosquitoes.
