As the growing number of women accusing Donald Trump of sexual assault, sexual harassment or some form of sexual misconduct grows to nearly a dozen, Trump is playing the victim.

In a speech to a North Carolina audience Friday, Trump said that the allegations are "100 percent false" and "made up." He also slammed People Magazine for the story from one of their own writers that alleges Trump assaulted her while covering him for a feature story on Melania Trump.

"As you have seen, I am a victim of one of the great political smear campaigns in the history of our country," Trump told the crowd.

"They are coming after me to try and destroy what is considered by even [the media] the greatest movement in the history of our country," he continued. "The political establishment is trying to stop us because they know I'm a threat to their totally corrupt control."

"Her specialty ... has been character assassination and, really personally, going after people. That's her specialty. She's been doing it her whole career," Trump said, claiming the Clinton campaign and media are responsible for bringing out these so-called "false allegations."

"These allegations are 100 percent false, as everybody — I think you get it. They're made up. They never happened," Trump said.
