Should we really give someone with as little impulse control as Donald Trump the power to launch nuclear weapons?
Bruce Blair, a former nuclear missile launch officer who is now a a research scholar at the Program on Science and Global Security at Princeton, doesn't think so at all.
In fact, he's filmed a brutal new ad for the Clinton campaign outlining why the thought of a President Trump absolutely terrifies him.
"If the president gave the order, we had to launch the missiles," Blair says of his former job in the ad. "That would be it. I'd pray that call would never come. Self control may be all that keeps this missiles from firing."
The ad then cuts to some of Donald Trump's greatest hits about wanting to "bomb the sh*t" out of ISIS and talking about having an "unpredictable" foreign policy.
"The thought of Donald Trump with nuclear weapons scares me to death," Blair then says. "It should scare everyone."
