Whoopi Goldberg can't believe the Donald Trump tax scandal. In the Tuesday episode of "The View," the ladies talked Trump taxes, floored by how much money Trump lost over the course of a year.

"He lost that!" Goldberg shouted after citing Trump's $916 million loss. "That did not go into his pocket. So, you know, I know if I had, say, lost $916 million that no one would think, 'Oh, I'm going to vote for her!' Especially, if I say, 'Hey, I'm a businessman.' Nine hundred and sixteen million dollars!" she shouted.

Co-host Joy Behar chimed in commenting that Trump has spent the election selling himself as a successful businessman. "But I really, speaking to his constituency, they really should understand that that tax law is not going to change when he becomes president. Because his businesses are going to go over to the sons, Hanz and Fritz, over there. And they're going to want that same tax break that their daddy got all those years. What makes you think, out there, that he's going to change that?"

Sunny Hostin couldn't figure it out either. "That's what doesn't make sense. He says, 'I'm brilliant because I took advantage of these tax loopholes but when I become president I'm going to fix them.' That doesn't make sense because it ensures the benefit of his family and his foundation and his children to keep those loopholes just the way they are."

Goldberg had a lightbulb moment and a flash of an idea. "What if those loopholes applied to everyone?!" she said as the audience cheered. She continued saying that if everyone had the ability to write off some stuff, "maybe you lost your job, maybe you lost your house. You still had to pay your taxes. So, if we make this about all of us, what's good for the goose is good for the gander."
