BUSTED: Trump said NFL quarterback Tom Brady voted for him -- but Brady's wife says that's not true

On Monday night in New Hampshire, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump claimed that legendary Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had phoned him earlier in the day and told him that he had voted for him.

This raised some eyebrows because Brady had told a local sports talk radio show that he hadn't voted yet on Monday morning, and he wouldn't reveal whom be planned to vote for.

Now USA Today's PatriotsWire blog has noticed that Tom Brady's wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, has denied that she and her husband are going to be voting for Trump today.

In chatting with some of her fans on Instagram this past Friday, one fan asked her if the rumors were true that she and Tom were going to vote for Trump.

"NO!" Bundchen replied emphatically.

It's entirely possible, of course, that Bundchen is refusing to vote for Trump while Brady still plans to support him. On the other hand, given the fact that Trump regularly makes up claims out of thin air, it's also possible that Brady's support is purely a work of the candidate's own active imagination.
