What was it like growing up as a child in the Donald Trump household?
According to an anecdote told by one of Donald Trump Jr.'s college classmates, it doesn't sound like a lot of fun.
Scott Melker, a Miami-based DJ who went to college with Trump Jr. at the University of Pennsylvania, has posted a story on Facebook about the time that Trump Sr. came to his dormitory to pick up his son to take him to a Yankees game.
"There were quite a few students standing around watching, trying to catch a glimpse of the famed real estate magnate," Melker explains. "Don Jr. opened the door, wearing a Yankee jersey. Without saying a word, his father slapped him across the face, knocking him to the floor in front of all of his classmates. He simply said 'put on a suit and meet me outside,' and closed the door."
If that doesn't make you feel sorry for Trump Jr., consider that Melker also claims that the son of the famed real estate magnate was always drinking, and he even earned the nickname "Diaper Don" because he would pass out drunk while soiled with his own bodily fluids.
"Every memory I have of him is of him stumbling around campus falling over or passing out in public, with his arm in a sling from injuring himself while drinking," Melker writes. "He absolutely despised his father, and hated the attention that his last name afforded him."
This is, of course, just one man's anecdote, so take it with a grain of salt. You can read Melker's full story on Trump Jr. below.
