‘Ego and stupidity of mega proportions’: Internet loses its mind after Trump meets with Kanye West
Yes, we’ve now officially reached Peak 2016: Kanye West has been spotted in Trump Tower and will apparently be meeting with President-elect Donald Trump.
While this may seem like an odd pairing, Trump and West have a lot of similarities: Gigantic egos, massive social media followings, and penchants for embracing conspiracy theories.
Given this, the two of them might hit it off more than many people think — but that hasn’t stopped the internet’s mind from being utterly blown by this meeting.
Below are some of the choice reactions we’ve seen on Twitter.
TRUMP: So what would your plan be to fight ISIS?
KANYE: Nothing in life is promised except death.
TRUMP: [Picks up phone.] Get me Mad Dog.

The President-elect has time to meet with Mr. West, but not to hold that news conference about his business plans.

Seriously. Kanye West and Donald Trump together are ego and stupidity of mega proportions. Either that or they're laughing at our stupidity.

I take comfort in knowing that after performing at Trump's inauguration, Kanye won't get paid for it.

Given the circumstances, it's a little scary that Kanye is both suddenly blonde and meeting with Trump. None of this is okay.

Trump is meeting with Kanye because he sees him as a viable opponent in 2020 cause of his twitter follower count https://t.co/JxBdj8MgXV
