'How does rich orange ass taste?': The internet shreds reporters who attended Trump's Mar-a-Lago party

Several reporters were photographed palling around with President-elect Donald Trump over the weekend -- and some of their viewers are not happy about it.

Mediaite notes that several reporters -- including CNN's Jeremy Diamond, Politico cofounder Mike Allen and NBC News's Hallie Jackson -- attended a private party at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida over the weekend, where they had an off-the-record chat with the president-elect.

At one point during the evening, Mike Allen posted a photo of Trump and the reporters in attendance on his Twitter account, where he also described Trump as "relaxed and chatty."

This photo set off major alarm bells for many people who decried major media figures getting cozy with Trump -- especially after he made attacks on the media a staple of his campaign rallies.

In response to Allen's post, several of his Twitter followers absolutely let him have it, and accused him and the other reporters in the room of selling their souls in exchange for access to Trump.
