Internet trolls harass 7-year-old Syrian girl documenting horrors of Aleppo: It's 'propaganda bullsh*t'
Bana Alabed (Twitter)

Bana Alabed, a 7-year-old girl living in Aleppo, Syria has been sharing her experiences on her Twitter account over the last few months, according to Mashable. But now she has trolls who question the legitimacy of her Twitter account and her story.

On Monday afternoon, Alabed tweeted, "Under attack. Nowhere to go, every minute feels like death. Pray for us. Goodbye - Fatemah ."

Alabed has over 200,000 people following her Twitter account for updates on her life in Aleppo, which she is able to share with the help of her mom Fatemah.

However, even a young girl sharing her day-to-day experiences in a besieged Syrian city is not safe from Twitter trolls. People started commenting on the account accusing Fatemah of creating a fake Twitter persona, while some also claimed that Alabed's father was a Jihadist.

Another user called the account "propaganda bullsh*t."

Following the level of trolling Alabed's account was receiving, she and her mother were able to verify the account in order to appear more credible to the many trolls of Twitter. However, the 7-year-old has made her intentions very clear: To evacuate and spread the word about the serious situation facing Aleppo.
