Denis Leary and Kellyanne Conway
Actor Denis Leary this week acknowledged the striking physical similarities he has to Donald Trump’s Kellyanne Conway, retweeting a post that suggested the president’s top advisor is actually a character played by Leary.
“I better win a fucking Oscar for this role,” Leary commented on the post.
Leary, a self-described "Jack Kennedy Democrat," has spoken out against the Trump administration, specifically regarding the president’s executive order restricting immigration from several predominantly Muslim countries.
On Tuesday, he shared an image of his parents, two Roman Catholic immigrants from County Kerry, Ireland.
“The courage it takes to come to this country should not be met by cowardice,” Leary wrote.
