Actress Ellen Page has been getting a flood of violent death threats through her Instagram account, TMZ reported.

The person sent her messages calling her a "b*tch actress" and "lying worthless Canadian." However, more concerning are the messages saying that the person would kidnap and kill her.

“I find Ellen and kidnap her and kill her throat and let everyone see it on my Instagram," the comment read.

The anonymous poster also claimed he wanted Page to “die at my hands.”

Page recently scored an Emmy nomination for her work on the series "Gaycation," which explores different cultures and the ways in which they treat LGBTQ people. She and best friend Ian Daniel have journeyed to homophobic Jamaica and Brazil where they encountered dangerous meetings with citizens there. Brazil boasts the highest LGBTQ murder rate in the world.

It's unclear if the death threats are motivated by Page's LGBTQ advocacy, however.
