Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin said Friday that top White House economic advisor Gary Cohn was happy about his position in the Trump administration.

Cohn reportedly authored a resignation letter after President Donald Trump bungled his response to a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Mnuchin told reporters that, unlike his colleague, he had felt no pressure to resign over Trump's comments.

"I can tell you I'm speaking to [Cohn] every day," he added. "Gary’s committed to be here, and couldn’t be more excited about that."
