Representative Denny Heck (D-WA) told CNN's Wolf Blitzer that Saudi Arabia's government can take their oil and "shove it."
Journalist Jamal Khashoggi went missing and has potentially been murdered at the hands of Saudi Arabia's regime. During Blitzer's Wednesday show, Heck suggested that Saudi Arabia's behavior is inexcusable.
"I've got a simple message for the Saudis," Heck said. "You can take your oil and shove it. Because human rights aren't for sale."
He added, "If you want to be a member of the community of civilized nations, then you need to begin behaving in that way, and they simply are not."
