Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) gave a brutal economics lesson to former Wisconsin GOP governor Scott Walker on Twitter Tuesday.
The new congresswoman responded to a tweet in which Walker bragged that he was educating fifth graders about taxes by telling them that Democratic policies were like taking $7 of the $10 a kid made doing chores.
AOC, who has triggered her Republican colleagues by suggesting that the super-wealthy be taxed at between 70 and 80 percent, went on to explain marginal tax rates to a "far-right former Governor."
AOC's proposed tax policies have been vetted by economists, including the Nobel-winning Paul Krugman, who say they would be excellent for the American economy.
