Outgoing Gov. Scott Walker (R-WI) sent an email to supporters begging them to help him find work as he's leaving the governor's mansion.

In an email to supporters, Walker said he would be traveling around the country giving speeches and working to re-elect President Donald Trump. According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Walker intends to live in the Milwaukee area, but his focus will be on traveling to do paid speeches.

Walker has already signed with a speaker's bureau that can help facilitate gigs for him, but the email asked supporters to consider hiring him for "meetings, conferences and other events."

The governor also alluded to "be[ing] involved with a number of excellent organizations," though he didn't clarify which organizations.

The governor has worked for the government for the last 26 years. Before being elected to the State Assembly, Walker worked briefly for the Red Cross. Walker left college in 1990, not finishing his degree. It's unclear if Walker would consider going back to school or if he could learn a trade.
