Donald Trump's former "fixer" Michael Cohen is reportedly going to show Congress check stubs showing the president reimbursed him for "hush agreement" payments — after he took office.

The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday evening that Cohen plans on revealing a signed check from the president, one of a series reimbursing him for the $130,000 "hush money" payment he made to Trump mistress Stormy Daniels.

The Daily Beast reported earlier in the day that the checks were made out in monthly installments of $35,000.

The Journal added that Cohen began receiving the checks, which were previously described by Trump Organization Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg as "legal fees," after the president took office in 2017.

As national security lawyer Bradley Moss noted on Twitter, it appears strange that Trump would be signing Trump Organization checks in 2017 because he claimed to be no longer involved with the company and placed his assets in a "revocable trust."
