Discussing a new measure by Reps. Ron Paul (R-TX) and Barney Frank (D-MA) to lift the federal ban on marijuana, Current TV's Keith Olbermann played clips from pot movies and cracked a few jokes.
He splashed segments from Reefer Madness (which he called "a great watch if you're baked"), Easy Rider, Cheech and Chong's Up In Smoke -- presumably to highlight the absurdity of some anti-marijuana arguments.
Olbermann said the Paul-Frank measure could bring in lots of new federal revenues, "so maybe you should hold your breath?"
The bill, he said, "could spark a lot of debate."
