Police arrested at least 17 protesters who were demonstrating outside the Manhattan headquarters of Goldman Sachs on Thursday, according to the Associated Press.


Protesters had marched from Zuccotti Park to Goldman's headquarters to stage a "people's trial" and deliver a guilty verdict to Goldman executives. Police asked protesters to vacate the sidewalk in front of the building, and when some protesters instead sat down and linked arms, they began making arrests.

Those arrested included former New York Times staffer-turnd activist and Nation contributor Chris Hedges and Reverend Billy of the Church of Life After Shopping.

It was the second straight day protesters have marched on Goldman's headquarters. Yesterday, protesters swarmed the building following reports that former President George W. Bush was inside.
