When First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden, wife of Vice President Joe Biden, appeared at the Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday in support of a charity that works to obtain employment for military veterans, they were met with a round of boos from the audience.
As described by Gawker, "To be fair to the classy crowd in the stands, the booing (to our ears) was short and mixed with cheers. Why was she booed? Twitter user @trodabumsoutgrl clears up any misconceptions: 'It is not racial - Michelle Obama is scorned by Nascar fans because her husband is a job-killer socialist.' Thanks for clarifying!"
