Barnard College economics professor Marcellus Andrews candidly expressed his dismay Saturday at the growing threat of America's rich having full control of the nation's power and direction.
Andrews appeared on MSNBC's Up with Chris Hayes and took a quick observation at some of the big events in the past few weeks with the Wall Street world to offer up a general opinion.
"Plutocracy doesn't work," Andrews said. "I know that in watching the JP Morgan disaster and the Facebook disaster, I know that not only do financial markets have the difficulties that we college professors talk about all the time. I know for certain now, if we don't fix this, this nation is in really unbelievable trouble. That I do know."
