In an unexpected twist at the Republican National Convention during prime time on Thursday night, actor Clint Eastwood appeared on stage with a mysterious chair to explain his support for nominee Mitt Romney (R-MA) and his discontent with President Barack Obama.
Though few in the audience could hear the chair speak, its interactions with Eastwood made it clear who was in charge -- and the chair stole the show. But while most reporters were busy stalking celebrities and politicians, Raw Story nabbed an exclusive interview with the attempting-to-be-incognito chair before it disappeared into political history.
