Wednesday's first presidential debate, Bill Maher said Friday, was a marked contrast: while Republican Mitt Romney showed what he looked like "all charged up," President Barack Obama, Maher said, looked like he'd spent Maher's million-dollar donation on weed.
Maher also cracked that the timing of the debate -- it was Obama's 20th wedding anniversary -- played a part in undermining his performance.
"He apparently had the sex first and was completely spent," Maher said. "Had nothing left."
According to Maher, the end result was Romney looking like the big winner.
"He looked like the Big Lebowski," Maher said. "What the fuck happened there?"
The Real Time host also chided his audience for being unwilling to admit that Obama didn't do well.
"I have not seen a black man look that disinterested and annoyed since I dragged Chris Rock to that Beach Boys concert," Maher said. "Obama looked so dead, Romney tried to baptize him."
