Gun control advocates on Sunday voiced there disappointment with Rep. Buck McKeon (R-CA) by showing up at a Republican campaign office in Santa Clarita, California to sing a song.
The song condemned McKeon for receiving thousands of dollars from the National Rifle Association. The activists noted that singer and NRA board member Ted Nugent has said the U.S. might be better of if the South won the Civil War and that he'd like to shoot illegal immigrants.
"Ted Nugent is a racist with a twisted brain. He's on the NRA board. The NRA is giving to McKeon's campaign. And this cannot be ignored," the activists sang.
"Buck is an N-R-acist, and it's mighty plain, cus the NRA is funding Buck's campaign. He's an N-R-acist and its on his head, cus he won't speak out on what Ted Nugent said," they continued.
McKeon, the chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, received $2,000 from the NRA this year.
